FAQs
What happens if a student misses a check-in or weekly report?
A deviation is flagged automatically and routed to the coordinator according to a defined escalation chain. Each notification is logged with timestamp and responsible party, so the matter can be addressed before it affects the assessment.
How does communication between student, supervisor and education provider work during the internship?
All parties communicate through a secure messaging service where messages are logged and accessible to authorised users only. Sensitive information is kept within the platform and not distributed via personal email.
Can the supervisor assess and sign weekly reports digitally?
Yes. The supervisor adds an assessment, comments and signs the weekly report digitally. The report is archived and available to the education provider in real time as supporting documentation for the final grade.
How are deviations, complaints and incidents handled?
Deviations are registered in a dedicated module, routed to the responsible coordinator and logged with status, measure and timestamp. The log can be exported as supporting documentation for follow-up or subsequent review.
Can a placement be changed during an ongoing internship?
Yes. Placements can be paused, terminated or transferred to another workplace during the internship period. All changes are logged with reason and decision-maker and the new placement starts from the current week.
How is confidentiality maintained at workplaces with sensitive information?
Each placement can be linked to a confidentiality undertaking that the student signs digitally before commencement. The undertaking is archived and made available to the workplace and the education provider.
