Contracts & Signing

Digital contracts, signing, and traceability – 10 questions

Both parties (company and student) sign with a drawn digital signature. Before signing, an OTP code (one-time password) is sent to your email for verification. Every step is logged in an audit trail.

Contracts that aren't signed before the deadline are automatically marked as "expired". The company can create a new contract with a new deadline if you want to proceed.

Yes, you can decline (declined) with a message. Both you and the other party can see the rejection and the reason in the contract history.

Yes, signed contracts are saved as PDF with all signatures. You can download them from your contract overview at any time.

The document is hashed for integrity, signatures are verified with OTP, and every step is logged (link_sent, otp_verified, signature_drawn, document_signed). The system meets traceability requirements for Swedish internship contracts.

A signed contract cannot be changed. If the terms need to be updated, the company creates a new contract with the correct information. Both documents remain in the history.

If the school is linked to the LIA placement, they can see the contract's status and signature history. The content is only shared with the parties directly involved.
