Prakto is Sweden's digital internship platform that connects students, schools, and companies. The platform handles the entire internship process – from matching and application to contracts, follow-up, and evaluation. Prakto supports LIA, APL, VFU, and Prao.

Prakto was founded by Yazan Ghayad with the vision to digitize and simplify the internship process in Sweden. The platform addresses the fact that matching, contracts, and follow-up are still done manually with paper and Excel at most schools.

Prakto is used by three target groups: students looking for internship placements, companies that host interns, and schools that administer internship periods. The platform supports VET education (LIA), upper secondary vocational programs (APL), university education (VFU), and lower secondary school (Prao).

Prakto is responsive and works on mobile via the browser. You can check in/out, write in the journal, chat, see notifications, and sign contracts directly from your phone. A dedicated mobile app is planned for a future release.

Prakto is available in Swedish and English. You choose the interface language under Settings. All documentation, templates, and support are available in both languages.

The platform is continuously updated with new features, improvements, and bug fixes. Major updates are communicated via email and in the platform's notifications.
